Lisa Kleypas-Seduce me at Sunrise

Book #2 in the Hathaway family series is about Win, who after almost dying of scarlet fever, is frail and basically bedridden. Kev Merripen is a gypsy who has been with the family since they saved him when he was a child. Kev has always loved Win but doesn't feel he's good enough for her. Win also loves Kev, but can't get him to admit it to her. She leaves for two years to get better for him. All sorts of dramatics start when she comes home and brings her doctor with her. Her doctor who is trying to court her. This book is all about first loves and trying to do what you think is best for that person. This is my favorite book...love it!

Lisa Kleypas-Mine Til Midnight

The first in the Hathaway family series, this book is about Amelia, the oldest of the Hathaway girls. After several family tragedies, the death of both parents and brother Leo's fiance, Laura, Leo inherits a title. The family, Leo, Amelia, Win, Poppy, and Beatrix, decide to move to their new country home to start over. Win is frail, Leo is grieving and trying to kill himself in every excess he can, so this is probably the best option. When they get their the house is falling apart. While walking to the local village Amelia runs into Cam Rohan, with whom she's met once and shared an awesome kiss with. Cam was in the Wallflowers series and we all know and love this guy. Needless to say all sorts of mishaps happen to the Hathaways, a hint of the paranormal and a fire. All the while Cam is there to help this family to recover and grow. Love love love this book!

Elizabeth Hoyt-Wicked Intentions

Wicked Intentions is the first in EHoyt's new Maiden Lane series. It's about Lazarus Huntington, Lord Caire. He's known for being a loner and for his different needs in the bedroom. HIs special lady friend was murdered and now he's searching for who did it in the slums. This is where he meets Temperance Dew, a widow who helps her brother run a home for infants and children who have been abandoned. She's got a secret she doesn't want to let go of that Laz really wants to find out. Together they search for the murderer and try to find out eachothers secrets. I really liked this book. It's kind of dark but good. Not my fave of hers but worth reading many, many times!
